Attorney Matthew Scutt is licensed in Texas, United States Federal Court, and with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Registered Patent Attorney.
Mr. Scutt has over 25 years of combined experience handling a variety of business and legal matters. He has focused his legal practice over the last decade on personal injury matters and civil litigation. Mr. Scutt is uniquely suited to be an aggressive advocate tackling issues of law and medical science in each and every case.
Matthew brings experience from working for a boutique personal injury firm in Austin, Texas at the start of his career, and years serving as a Managing Attorney for some of the largest personal injury firms in the State of Texas handling both single event and mass tort personal injury matters.
In his career, Matthew has personally handled a wide variety of cases from inception to trial and judgment–from the smallest of cases with merit, to default judgments for the purposes of justice, to cases with millions of dollars at stake. Mr. Scutt recently obtained a judgment in November 2023 for $20,500,000.00 (TWENTY MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND AND 00/100 DOLLARS) in Tarrant County for the purposes of justice.
Matthew has supervised large teams of attorneys in the the resolution of thousands of matters. He has also evaluated thousands of potential matters during years of being on call 24/7–and he stands ready to lend a compassionate ear to potential clients to understand how he may be able serve them and fight for them.
